Do you judge a book by it's cover?
I can't help it if I see a beautiful cover I almost always have to read the book, it just kind of draws me in.
Some covers are just standouts, but sadly it's not always the story lives up to the cover. That goes the other way too I have read some books that I really loved but they don't have a striking cover.

I ALWAYS judge a book by its cover. I can't help it. I am drawn to the interesting and pretty covers, especially if I don't know anything about the book.

I agree. I love the covers that are bright and eye catching and I will most likely end up at least putting it on my "to read" list

Exactly! I could kick myself for some of the books I put off because I didn't like the covers! I'm a new follower. My FF is at Coffee Table Reviews
A good cover is just good marketing to me. It catches my attention but I won't assume the book is good just because the cover is good. Well...I try not to assume. Sometimes if the cover is super amazing...I fall.
I think we can all agree that even the most beautiful book cover can't sell a book if the writing's not there. Book cover art may, at best, help steer me in the book's direction (especially if I'm in a book store) but it's not going to hypnotize me into buying it right then and there.
