Review

An interesting story about an unique girl and a original take on the Salem witch trials.
The beginning of this book was great, I like the story about all the real witches that needed to be executed during the Salem witch trails because the other supernatural beings “The hidden race” was afraid of exposure to humans.

The story was so well written and I read the whole book very fast. It’s an easy read and I must complement L. A. Jones on her writing style.
Especially her descriptions was very interesting to read.

We follow Aradia, she’s a strong and outspoken protagonist.
I like that she has to deal with having beyond great powers and still go to school and try to act normal.
The thing I was sad about was that the book at one point got sidetracked and a little irritating. Every boy Aradia sees is more hot and amazing than the one before and it got to much for me. I wanted more witch and less teenage drama.

The plot was enjoyable and it kept me hanging on to the book, but I really look forward to the “big plot” that this book build towards and I hope to get to know more about it and witches in the next book.
I also can’t wait to see Aradia grow as a witch and as a person, and I’m very interested to follow the next chapter in her life in book two.

I give Tales of Aradia: The Last Witch 3 out of 5.

[Thank you Laura Antonia Freeman for sending me a copy of your book]

Good review! I had seen this book around and wondered about it. Would've picked it up if it had more witch and less teenaged angst, oh well. I enjoy your blog as always, Rae
